Our recruitment methodology is precise and collaborative. It includes the following important elements:


Client Brief

Through our initial meeting with you, we gain a detailed understanding of your business. We also perform a market analysis of your specific industry sector which enables us to develop a detailed position description and identify the “best-fit” of candidate, whilst paying attention to specific or unique requirements.


Database Search

Gee-Woolhouse maintains an extensive database of candidates up to executive and management levels. Our candidate database has been developed over many years of recruitment and is a powerful source of candidates and contacts, that supplements our advertising and search activity.


Advertising

For executive and management recruitment we recommend the use of local/national newspaper advertising, supported by internet where appropriate. Our success in attracting quality candidates comes from conducting ourselves as ambassadors of our clients. This focus drives the first-class advertising that we create on your behalf.


Interviewing

Based on the position description and competency profile, resumes will be screened and candidates selected for interview. We conduct competency based behavioural interviews to gain a comprehensive understanding of the candidate's suitability according to the selection criteria.



Due Diligence

At least two reference checks are undertaken against the selection criteria for the preferred candidate(s). Gee-Woolhouse will also seek independent confirmation of the relevant degree and / or postgraduate qualifications, for each of the preferred candidates. We conduct a comprehensive range of compliance checks according to the needs of each client.


Remuneration Advice

We have acquired a huge knowledge bank and understanding of salary packaging. At any given time we are able to assist our clients in designing or updating salary packages associated to positions relevant to current market conditions.


Psychometric and Workplace Assessments

A psychometric or psychological assessment measures a person’s character, personality traits and behaviours under certain situations. Gee-Woolhouse renders a range of psychometric evaluation services that can assist organisations in their critical selection and decision making process. This can incorporate psychometric evaluation, job analysis and team analysis testing.


Retention Support

As part of our post-placement support service we are committed to making sure that both our client and candidate are enjoying a smooth transition. We follow a communication process with both parties to gather feedback regarding their respective decisions and to facilitate the development of their working relationship.

Interested in contracting?


Contractor Rate

Most contractors will be brought onto the payroll of Gee-Woolhouse, where we will manage their weekly timesheets, taxation, banking of wages, provision of superannuation and cover for worker's compensation. Contractors are provided an hourly rate plus 9% superannuation.


Executive Lease Rate

An executive lease is a contractor that chooses to utilise their own business structure (with ABN) and provides a tax invoice to Gee-Woolhouse for their services. Executive lease professionals are responsible for their own taxation (including GST), superannuation and relevant insurances.
